当地时间2017年6月21日，沙特阿拉伯麦加，新王储穆罕默德·本·萨勒曼（中）在麦加举行宣誓效忠的就职仪式。当日，沙特国王萨勒曼宣布，废除现年57岁的王储穆罕默德·本·纳伊夫，另立其子穆罕默德·本·萨勒曼为新任王储，他还兼任沙特副首相及国防部长职务。
